O-86-1201 - 6/12/1986ORDINANCE NO. /AO/ BOARDWALK - TRACT,2 AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY TO -WIT: 200.584 ACRES AS DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A ". WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zon ing Commission on the 5th day of June , 19 86 , held a public hearing to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 12th day of June , lg 86 , that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the above - described property be given a permanent zoning designation, of District C -1 (General Commercial) ; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned District C -1 (General Commercial) (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable) Alternative 1. It is bounded on the west by IH -35, the South by County Road 170, the East by a vacant tract and the north by Corridor Park II, Kensington, Windy Park and Greenlawn Place Subdivision. Tract 1 (19.683 acres) is proposed for District MF (Multi - Family). Tract 2 (12.274 acres) is proposed for District TF (Two Family). Tract 3 (200.584 acres) is proposed for District C -1 (General Commercial). This request is for Original Zoning of the entire tract which is now entirely within the cities jurisdiction. (First Reading) Tract 2 of the Boardwalk Subdivision contains 200.584 acres and is located on the northeast corner of IH -35 and County Road 170. Applicant has requested District C -1 (General Commercial) zoning for this tract. Staff has recommended approval of the request. The Planning and Zoning Commission at their regular meeting on June 5, 1986, voted unanimously to recommend to the City Council, approval of the zoning classification as requested.
