AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE
OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF
THE OFFICIAL MAP BY 9 1 ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT• 6 8 ACRES AS DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A ".
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing
permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed
designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Plann
ing and Zoning Commission on the
17th day of July , 19 86 , held a public hearing
to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the
above - described property, and has approved and recommended to the
City Council on the 22nd day of July , 19 86 ,
that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the
above - described property be given a permanent zoning designation,
of District C - 1 (General Commercial) ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the
statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other
procedural matters have been fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: .
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the
same is permanently zoned District C -1 (General Commercial)
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable)•
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

PROPOSED C -1 PARCEL
Field notes describing 69.188 acre tract of land out of the Asa Thomas
Survey, Abstract No. 609 situated in Williamson County, Texas being a
portion of that certain 95.41 acres of land conveyed to Floy Howe by
deed recorded in Volume 448, Page 392 of the Deed Records of said county
and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the said southeast_corner of above described proposed SF -2
tract being the POINT OF BEGINNING.
THENCE along the east line S 19° 19' 45" E 2321.69 to the southeast corner
being an angle point hereof;
THENCE 5 73° 24' 44" W, 1095.44 feet along the south line to an iron rod
found at a fence corner being the southwest corner of said 69.188 acre tract;
THENCE along the western line approximatley N 18° 54' 28" W, 1925.65 feet
to the north -west corner of said tract;
THENCE along the north line N 73° 24' 50" W, 1078.23 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
