WHEREAS, the planning department has prepared a service plan that
provides for the extension of municipal services into the territory to be
annexed, and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present
boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, all requirements- of the laws of the State of Texas and the

WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two public hearings
were held before the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, where
all interested persons were provided an opportunity to be heard on the
proposed annexation of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the first of the public hearings was held in the City Council
Chamber, on the 12 day of June , 1986 , and the second
public hearing was held in the Council Chambers on the 26th day
of June , 19 86 ; which hearing dates were not more than
forty (40) days nor less than twenty (20) days prior to institution of
annexation proceedings, and
WHEREAS, Notice of both public hearings was published in a newspapaper
having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas on the 2nd
Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying
adjacent to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City
of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter
described shall hereafter be included within the boundary
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present
boundary limits of such city, at the various points
contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and
amended so as to include said area within the corporate
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of
the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of
the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 3. The service plan providing for the extension
of municipal services into the territory to be annexed is
attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and such plan is hereby
adopted and approved.

FIELD NOTES describing a 48.61 acre tract or parcel of land out of the P.A.
Holder Survey. A- 297,- situated in Williamson County, Texas. being a portion of
that certain 63.63 acre tract conveyed to Phillip W. Warner by deed recorded in
Volume 369. Page 299. of the Deed Records of said County and a portion of that
certain 32.37 acre tract conveyed to Topletz Development Company by deed
recorded in Volume 1057, Page 534. of the Deed Records of said County. being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the West right -of -way line of M. K. & T. railroad,
being 500 feet north of the existang north right -of -way line of U.S. Highway
79, for the Southeast corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter
described 48.61 acres;
THENCE along a line 500 feet North of and adjacent and parallel to the North
right -of -way line of U.S. Highway 79, for the South line hereof, the following

SERVICE PLAN
HIROCK ANNEXATION
48 61 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS
The City of Round Rock, Texas will provide for the
extension of municipal services into the territory to be
annexed in accordance with the following schedule:
1. Police protection - immediately upon annexation.
2. Fire protection - immediately upon annexation.
3. Solid waste collection - immediately upon
annexation.
4. Maintenance of existing water and wastewater
facilities - immediately upon annexation.
5. Maintenance of existing public roads, streets
and street lighting - immediately upon annex-
ation.
6. Maintenance of existing public parks, play-
grounds, and swimming pools - immediately upon
annexation.
7. Maintenance of any existing publically owned
facility building or service within the
territory to be annexed - immediately upon
annexation.
8. Capital improvements sufficient for providing
municipal services for the subject tract are in
place such that the cost associated with the
extension of service lines to proposed building
sites within the tract will be borne by the
owner and /or developer.
