Aim Tract
AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A
PART OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY
ANNEXED PROPERTY TO -WIT: 8 ACRES
AS DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A ".
WHEREAS, a recommendation has been made to the City Council
of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing
permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed
designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the
29th'day of October, 1987, held a public hearing to consider
the designation of permanent zoning for the above described
property, and has approved and recommended to the City Council
on the 29th day of October, 1987, that the Official Zoning Map
be amended so that the above described property be given a
permanent zoning designation, of I -1 (Might Tndustrial)
and ,
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the
statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and
other procedural matters have been fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described
in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall
be and the same is permanently zoned I -1 (Light Industrial) .
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES describing 8.842 acres (385,145 sq. ft.) of land out of the
Ephraim Evans Survey, A -212 in Williamson County, Texas, and being a portion
of that 73.55 acre tract of land conveyed to Harvey Evans, Gloria Evans and
Edward Flume, trustees by deed recorded in 913, page 333, Williamson County
deed records, said 8.842 acres of land being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as follows: •
BEGINNING at an iron rod found at the northwest corner of the said 73.55
acre tract, being on the south right -of -way line of Chandler Road. and
from which the southeast corner of the said Evans Survey bears 554 °01'E,
2,900 feet, for the northwest corner hereof;
THENCE with the south line of said Chandler Road, N71 °18'25 "E, 735.01 feet
to an iron rod set at the intersection of said south line with the proposed
west right -of -way line of Aim Drive, for the northeast corner hereof;
THENCE with the said proposed west line of Aim Drive, over and across the
said 73.55 acre tract, the following five (5) courses and distances:
1) S18° 41'35 "E, 25.00 feet to an iron rod set;
2) 39.27 feet along the arc of a curve to the right,
25.00 feet and a chord which bears S63° 41'42 "E,
iron rod set;

Area Description
AIM - LOT 1 OAKMONT CENTER SECTION 4
This tract is located at the southwest corner of Cypress
Boulevard and Chandler Road. It is part of the Oakmont Center
Industrial Park and includes 8.84 acres.
Current Land Use
This is a currently serviced vacant industrial tract.
Purpose of Annexation
The 1987 Plan includes this tract in order to extend zoning and
building standards and provide coordinated police and fire
protection to an area surrounded on all sides by the corporate
limits.
Zoning Analysis
This tract is located within the industrial area as defined by
the General Plan and by recently approved industrial
subdivisions.
