O-87-1256 - 12/22/1987ORDINANCE NO. /0256 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11, ZONING, CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: PROVIDING FOR AN ALTERNATE PARKING STANDARD AND PROVIDING CRITERIA FOR DETERMINING SUCH A STANDARD: REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That Chapter 11, Section 3, 0, 1 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby amended by adding the following: (V) An alternate parking standard may be approved by the Director of Planning and Community Development for specific uses which are deemed to require less parking than the standards outlined in Section 0, (1) based on the following criteria: 1.) The use of the building is specific and occupied by a single user. 2.) The user provides a detailed breakdown of his parking requirements indicating employee counts, shift distribution and visitor or customer needs. 3.) The user provides a site plan showing how additional parking to meet standard ordinance requirements would be provided if the use changed or parking needs increase. The Director of Planning and Community Development shall establish conditions necessary to assure the adequacy of future on site parking when approving an alternate parking standard. II. A. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. B. All ordinances, parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
