AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 2.39 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY
LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two
public hearings were held before the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were
provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation
of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the first public hearing was held in the Council
Chamber on the 4th day of November, 1987, and the second public
hearing was held in the Council Chamber on the 12th day of
November, 1987; which hearing dates were not more than forty
(40) days nor less than twenty (20) days prior to institution
of annexation proceedings, and
WHEREAS, notice of the public hearings were published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round
Rock, Texas, on the 22nd day of October, 1987, and the 26th
of.October, 1987, which dates are not more than twenty
(20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to each hearing, and
WHEREAS, the planning department has prepared a service
plan that provides for the extension of municipal services
into the territory to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the
present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of
Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock
have been complied with, and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 2.39
acres; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying
adjacent to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City
of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter described
shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits of
such city, at the various points contiguous to the area
hereinafter described, are altered and amended so as to
include said area within the corporate limits of the City of
Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area
so annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas,
and the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all
of the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations
of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 3. The service plan providing for the extension
of municipal services into the territory to be annexed is
attached hereto as Exhibit "B" ani such » is n by adopted

Field note description of a 2.671 acre tract of land out of the Samuel
Jenkins Survey, Abstract No. 347, in Williamson County, Texas. Said 2.671
acre tract being comprised of a 1.962 acre tract out of a 5.29 acre tract
as recorded in volume 880, page 945, Williamson County deed records and a
0.709 acre tract out of a 62.823 acre tract as recorded in volume 1379,
page 657, Williamson County, deed records. Said 2.671 acre tract as being
compiled by record information by Carmelo L. Macias, R.P.S. No. 4333 on
November 23, 1987, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds

located in Gattis School Road (High Country off - site). This
line has sufficient capacity to accommodate existing
development in this area. Off -site improvements may be
required to accomodate ultimate development.
Water Services will be available from a 12 inch line to be
located in Gattis School Road (High Country off- site). This
line has sufficient capacity to accommodate projected
development in the area.
Sewer and water services will be extended by the developers
