Annexation Title
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 3.00 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY
LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two
public hearings were held before the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were
provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation
of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the first public hearing was held in the Council
Chamber on the 4th day of November, 1987, and the second public
hearing was held in the Council Chamber on the 12th day of
November, 1987; which hearing dates were not more than forty
(40) days nor less than twenty (20) days prior to institution
of annexation proceedings, and
WHEREAS, notice of the public hearings were published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round
Rock, Texas, on the 22na (ey C,f '9,7, and the 26th
day of October, 1987, which dates are not iv :. than twenty
(20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to each hearing, and
WHEREAS, the planning department has prepared a service
plan that provides for the extension of municipal services
into the territory to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the
present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of
Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock
have been complied with, and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 3.00
acres; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying
adjacent to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City
of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter described
shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits of
such city, at the various points contiguous to the area
hereinafter described, are altered and amended so as to
include said area within the corporate limits of the City of
Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area
so annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas,
and the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all
of the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations
of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 3. The service plan providing for the extension
of municipal services into the territory to be annexed is
attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and such plan is hereby adopted
end approved.

115, also known as Sunrise Road in Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at an iron pin found in the eastern right-of-way of County Road
115, said pin also being the northernmost corner of lot 28, and the northwest
corner of lot 27, both in Block Q Mesa Ridge Subdivision, Section 9 as
recorded in Cabinet E, Slide 174 of the Plat Records of Williamson County,
Texas, for the
POINT OF BEGINNING for the following described right -of -way.
05080E S 89 39' 45" W, 15 feet to a concrete monument shown on the above
referenced plat of Mesa Ridge Subdivision Section 9; (the northeast corner
of the Wiley Harris Survey being N 4 0' 15" W, 822.23);
From the concrete monument thence S 89° 39' 45" W a distance of 45 feet
across County Road 115 for the south line of this described right-of -way,
such line also being a portion of the current Round Rock corporate city
limits, and such point also being located approximately 820 feet due
south of the northeast corner of the Wiley Harris Survey, A -298, along
the additional County Road 115 right- of-way as dedicated by plat, -Mesa

This was part of the 1987 Annexation Plan.

Ordinance as Exhibit B.
