High Country Subdivision Annexation Title WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two public hearings were held before the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, the first of the public hearings was held in the City Council Chamber, on the llth day of December , 19 86 , and the second public hearing was held in the Council Chambers on the 23rd day of December , 19 86 ; which hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor less than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation proceedings, and WHEREAS, Notice of both public hearings was published in a newspapaper having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas on the 26th day of November , 19 86 , and on the 8th day of December , 1986 , which date is not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to each hearing, and WHEREAS, the planning department has prepared a service plan that provides for the extension of municipal services into the territory to be annexed, and WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been complied with, and WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 62.823 acres; now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 1.
