Y Round Rock Ranch Phase 2 Annexation Title AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 147.32 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS. WHEREAS, in accordance with AI 970a, V.A.T.S., two public hearings were held before the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the property described in Exhibit "A " & "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, the first of the public hearings was held in the City Council Chamber, on the 4th day of February and the second public hearing was held in the Council Chambers on the 11th day of February , 19 88 ; which hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor less than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation proceedings, and WHEREAS, Notice of both public hearings was published in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas on the 25th day of January , 19 88, and which date is not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to each hearing, and, WHEREAS, the Planning Department has prepared a service plan that provides for the extension of municipal services into the territory to be annexed, and WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the States of Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been compiled with, and WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 147.32 acres now therefore, , 19 88 , TEXAS: -2- VOL 1953PA &E323 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, Section 1.
