AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AND
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF
14.75 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY
LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Art, 970a, V..A.T,S „ two
public hearings were held before the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided
an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the
property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the first of the public hearings was held in
the City Council Chamber, on the 26th day of October
19 89 , and the second public hearing was held in the Council
Chambers on the 1st day of November , 19 89
which hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor less
than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation
proceedings, and
WHEREAS, Notice of both public hearings was published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round
Rock, Texas on the 16th day of October , 19 89 ,
which date is not more than twenty (20) days nor less than
ten (10) days prior to each hearing, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has prepared a
service plan that provides for the extension of municipal
services into the territory to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins
the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of
Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock
have been compiled with, and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 14.75
acres, now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying
adjacent to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City
of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter described
shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits
of such city, at the various points contiguous to the area
hereinafter described, are altered and amended so as to
include said area within the corporate limits of the City of
Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area
so annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas,
and the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all
of the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall
be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations
of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 3. The service plan providing for the extension
of municipal services into the territory to be annexed is
attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and such plan is hereby
adopted and approved.

Sept. 1967, by W.F. Forest. Beginning at the SE corner of the 73.78
acres, in the center of Brushy Creek; Thence S 77 deg. 15' W 929.5
feet upstream with the center of the creek; Thence N. 3 deg. 30' W
278 feet and N 0 deg. 30' W 200 feet with a fence, to set an iron pin
midway up a bank or bluff, about 12 to 15 feet high; Thence with the
