AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF .12 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID
TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 43.052 of the Local
Government Code, two public hearings were held before the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided
an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the property
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the first of the public hearings was held in the City Council
Chamber, on the 8th day of November , 1990, and the second public
hearing was held in the Council Chambers on the 15th day of November ,
1990 ; which hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor less
than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation proceedings, and
WHEREAS, Notice of both public hearings was published in a
newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas on
the 29th day of October , 1990 , which date is not more than twenty
(20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to each hearings, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has prepared a service plan that
provides for the extension of municipal service into the territory to be
annexed, and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present
boundaries of the City Round Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas and the
Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been complied with, and

WHEREAS, the territory above described contains .12 acres, now
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit "A ", which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying adjacent to and adjoining
the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby added
and annexed to the City Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter
described shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city, at
the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered
and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the
City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so annexed
shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the inhabitants
thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of all the
citizens and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and
regulations of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 3. The service plan providing for the extension of municipal
services into the territory to be annexed is attached hereto Exhibit "B" and
such plan is hereby adopted and approved.
