Consider an ordinance concerning the proposed change to the scale of the Official Zoning map from 1 inch = 800 feet to 1 inch = 400 feet. (First Reading) STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joe Vining STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval The City of Round Rock Planning Department has completed the redrafting of the city zoning maps at a more detailed scale of 1" = 400'. These new maps consist of 19 pages drawn at a scale which allows citizens to see each individual lot and avoid confusion related to interpreting property lines. These maps do not change existing zoning. The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval of adopting the new maps at their meeting of February 21, 1991. This ordinance will adopt the new maps as the official Zoning Map for the City of Round Rock.
