DATE: August 25,1992
SUBJECT: City Council Meeting, August 27, 1992
ITEM: 11.B. Consider an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance by
rezoning 3.333 acres of land out of the Jacob M. Harrell Survey,
being all of Lot 2, Block A, Amended Sam Bass 7, from C -2 (Local

The requested I -1 (General Industrial) zoning allows the site and buildings to be
utilized in a manner consistent with the existing development.
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of this application
on August 6, 1992.
Economic impact: No direct cost to City. This will increase tax base as businesses
lease this light industrial space.
