BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND That Chapter 11, Section 11.303, Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to include the following: II. That Chapter 11, Section 11.314(2), Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended as follows: (2) Permitted Principal Uses The following are permitted principal uses in District I -1: Light industry with all associated operations, storage within an enclosed building, warehouses, mini - warehouses, ll� +fix III. Z " cis'? 13— q That Chapter 11, Section 11.303, Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to include the following: Heavy Vehicle: A self - propelled vehicle having a gross vehicle weight of greater than 11,000 pounds, such as large recreational vehicles, tractor - trailers, buses, vans, and other similar vehicles. Office: Any business or professional offices, such as medical offices or clinics, government offices, and personal service businesses where the service is performed on an individual -to- individual basis as opposed to service which is performed on objects or personal property. Truck Terminal: An area and building where cargo is stored and where heavy vehicles including tractors and trailer units, load and unload cargo on a regular basis, including facilities for the temporary storage of loads prior to shipment. (First Reading) Staff Resource Person: Joe Vining Staff Recommendation Approval On February 5 the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended amending Sections 11.303 (Definitions) and 11.314(2) (Industrial District Permited Principal Uses) to add "office" as an allowable use within this district and add definitions for "Heavy Vehicle ", "Office ", and "Truck Terminal ".
