SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIRYD PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY ':L1ITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL TIIE RIGHTS AND PRIVILAGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUT1JP INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS ANT ORDINANCES OF THE SAID TY. WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and voted on by a majority of the inhabitants, who are qualified voters of the hereinafter described territory, and said petition has been verified according to Article 1135 of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State - of Texas, said land beinz described ad follows: BEING 88.67 acres of the P. A. Holder Survey, Abst. #297, adjacent to the East City Limits of. Round Rock, Texas, all of a tract called 100 acres 2nd Tract, in a deed dated Jan. 28, 1946, from A. H. Berkman to E. S. Burkland of record in Vol. 334, Page 150, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas. BEGINNING at an iron pin set beside a fence corner post at the S W corner of the 100 acre tract, on the West line of the Holder Survey, in the East Line of the Wiley Harris Survey, 1654 feet from the North fence line of a County Road 40 feet wide that runs along or near the South line of the Harris Survey. THENCE, North 2935.E feet (1074.0 varas), to tho center of Lake Creek on the West Line of the Holder Survey, at the N 0 corner of a tract of 3.22 acres described in a deed to Theo Zimmerman of record in Vol. 484, Page 247, D /R. THENCE, downstream with the center of Lake Creek, about 1765 feet (635.4 varas), to the N 0 corner of the 2nd Tract. As we suspected from looking at the original in your file, one page was missing from the Ordinance when sent to the County Clerk. This was page 2, the page on which Mayor Cotrell's signature appears. If you wish to correct the matter and have the county records show pro- perly I would suggest you get the original Ordinance from your file, be sure the pages are stapled in proper order, and then re -file it in the Deed Records.
