("Engineer") ADDRESS: 900 East Main Street, Round Rock, TX 78664 PROJECT: Lake Creek Trail This Supplemental Contract No. 1 to Contract for Engineering Services is made by and between the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter called the "City" and Hagood Engineering Associates, Inc., hereinafter called the "Engineer". WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed a Contract for Engineering Services, hereinafter called the "Contract', on the 6th day of July, 2016 for the Lake Creek Trail Project in the amount of $199,916.00; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to modify the provisions for the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $4,400.00 to a total of $204,316,00; NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and the Engineer agree that said Contract is amended as follows: 1. Article 2, Engineering „Services and Exhibit B, Engineering Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Addendum to Exhibit B. 11. Article 4, Compensation and Exhibit D. Pee Schedule shall be amended by increasing by $4,400.00 the lump sum amount payable under the Contract for a total of $204,316.00. Sandre, City Attorney Date Supplemental Conlract 4887.2122-0707 ADDENDUM TO EXHIBIT B Engineering Services Attached Behind This Page LAKE CREEK TRAIL SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES EXHIBIT B: SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED BY ENGWE R, The propose of the services proposed herein is to provide professional structural services necessary for the Lake Creek Trail Project from Round Rock West Park to Centennial Plaza, TASK 4: CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS Revise various working/construction drawings and technical specifications as necessary to implement the changes as required by the updated pedestrian bridge and trial cover location. Revised construction drawings may include, but not be limited to the following information: general construction and project specific notes, dimension control/layout, and structural details. Consultant shall compliment drawings with revised Contract Documents and Technical Specifications including quantity take- offs, which describe materials, systems and equipment, workmanship, quality and performance criteria required for the construction of the work. Throughout the permitting process, various regulatory agencies (floodplain and Union Pacific Railroad) changed requirements forcing the structural engineer to change design and revise construction details and structural calculations. The Lake Creek Trail - Round Rock West to Centennial Plaza Project includes a 10' wide concrete trail that spans from Round Rock West Drive to Centennial Plaza. It passes beneath 1-35 and includes a pedestrian bridge that crosses Lake Creek. This project will provide a vital connection from the southwestern portion of the City into Downtown.
