R-2023-305 - 9/28/2023 RESOLUTION NO. R-2023-305 WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock (the "City") previously accepted a proposal from Madison National Life for the provision of employee-paid short-term disability coverage on September 13, 2018 by Resolution No. R-2018-5862, and WHEREAS, the City desires to renew and enhance said short-term disability coverage for an additional two(2) years, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That the Council hereby authorizes renewal of short-term disability coverage with Madison National Life for the guarantee period of January 1, 2024, through December 31,2025. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City any related documents required for the renewal and enhancements of said benefits. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551,Texas Government Code, as amended.
