The work for this change consists of the installation of (4) RTD monitors at the floating barge and (1) RTD monitor in the existing 480V mcc for the twin creeks motor. Also, installation of a pullbox to facilitate routing of branch control conductors to the various pieces of equipment at the electrical switchgear house (see engineers RFI-13). This quotation includes the following services and materials: • Conduits with associated fittings, mounting hardware as required. • Wiring and terminations for power and control. • Installation of the pullbox flush with concrete sidewalk. • Subcontractor services to install/program RTD monitors (see attached Neltronics scope). • Equipment costs for small tools (benders, drills, saws). This quotation does not include any of the following: • PLC programming to monitor the (5) DI alarm contacts of the RTD monitors. Note that the PLC will be providing a digital output to each of the (5) motor controllers. CI-12M Hill will need to provide the programming needed to facilitate monitoring the (5) digital inputs and program the associated outputs to facilitate pump shutdown in the event of a high temperature condition. Total cost for the additional work associated with this change is $32,155.00. Please see attached detailed pricing summary breakdown. Due to the fact that these proposed RTD monitors are performing the function of the MultiLin relays indicated on the plans, we contacted Siemens and asked them to provide a credit to delete the (4) MultiLin relays from the MCCs, they offered a credit amount of<$6,000, to delete them.
