M RESOLUTION OF THE BRUSHY CREEK REGIONAL UTILITY AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS co mmenb f n g JAMES R. NOSE, P.E. City Manager, City of Round Rock, Texas Whereas, James R. Nuse ("Jim") was instrumental in developing the initial concept of a partnership among the cities of Cedar Park, Leander, and Round Rock to provide treated water from Lake Travis that will save the cities tens of millions of dollars; and Whereas, Jim's tireless efforts and creativity ultimately led to the creation of the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority; and Whereas, Jim's vision led him to understand that taking a regional approach to this issue would result in benefits not only to the City of Round Rock, but to all of the citizens in the southwest Williamson County area; and Whereas, since the creation of the BCRUA, Jim has continued to provide leadership in the administration and execution of the concepts and policies of the Board of Directors; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: On behalf of the 113CRUA, the City Councils of Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock and all of the citizens of the southwest Williamson County area, the Board of Directors wishes to publically express its appreciation to Jim Nuse for his outstanding accomplishments with respect to the BCRUA and the lasting contribution that he has made, which reflects great credit on himself, as well as the citizens of Round Rock.
