BCRUA_R-11-10-19-6DRESOLUTION NO. R-ll-IO-19-6D WHEREAS, the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority, Inc. ("BCRUA") has previously entered into a contract ("Contract") with Excel Construction Services, LLC for the BCRUA Interim Floating Intake Facilities Project, and WHEREAS, the BCRUA has determined that it is necessary to make adjustments/changes to the quantity of work to be performed or materials, equipment, or supplies to be provided, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to adjust/change the quantities in said Contract in accordance with the attached Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No.4, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BRUSHY CREEK REGIONAL UTILITY AUTHORITY, That the Board President is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the BCRUA, Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No.4 to the Contract with Excel Construction Services, LLC for the BCRUA Interim Floating Intake Facilities Project, a copy of same being attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all purposes. Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. has reviewed the cost information submitted by Excel. It is our opinion that the total cost for the added scope of work is fair and reasonable. IfBCRUA accepts this cost proposal, a total of $3,113.00 will be incorporated into the next change order. Excel also states that 2 calendar days will be required for the added scope of work. However, the additional days will not be included in the change order, and the substantial completion date for the overall project will not change.
