WHEREAS, the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority, Inc. ("BCRUA") has previously
entered into a contract ("Contract") with Excel Construction Services, LLC for the BCRUA Interim
Floating Intake Facilities Project, and
WHEREAS, the BCRUA has determined that it is necessary to make adjustments/changes
to the quantity of work to be performed or materials, equipment, or supplies to be provided, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to adjust/change the quantities in
said Contract in accordance with the attached Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No.6, Now
Therefore
BE IT RESOL VED BY THE BRUSHY CREEK REGIONAL UTILITY
AUTHORITY,
That the Board President is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
BCRUA, Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 6 to the Contract with Excel Construction
Services, LLC for the BCRUA Interim Floating Intake Facilities Project, a copy of same being
attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all purposes.
The Board hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject
of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to
the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter hereof
were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended.

1. Add pad and wooden cribbing for permanent storage of spare 16" rubber hoses removed from old Twin
Creeks barge, per CPR # 11 and the response to CPR # 11 from Excel, dated September 7, 2011.
ADD $11,240.00
2. Add construction of new permanent mooring anchors for BCRUA barge, and work associated with
temporary anchoring of the barge, per CPR #14 and the response to CPR #14 from Excel, dated October
6,2011.
ADD s 26,232.00
3. Add conduit and conductor wire to serve the radio tower obstruction light, per CPR #15 and the response
to CPR #15 from Excel, dated November 8,2011.
ADD s 2,725.00
4. Add control and power cable, per CPR #17 and the response to CPR #17 from Excel, dated November
16,2011.
ADD s 16,719.00
TOTAL ADD s 56,916.00
5. Add 36 calendar days, due to the need to delay pump startup until the raw water pipeline is available to
transfer raw water from the Floating Intake to the Water Treatment Plant. The 36 calendar days assumes
that the pump startup will be completed no later than January 21,2012, based on the current schedule to
begin pump startup procedures on January 16,2012.
