BCRUA_R-23-09-27-6B RESOLUTION NO. R-23-09-27-6B
WHEREAS, the Public Funds Investment Act codified in the Texas Government Code
Chapter 2256 governs local government investment; and
WHEREAS, the Public Fund Investment Act (Section 2256.005a), as amended, requires the
BCRUA to adopt an investment policy and investment strategies by rule, order, ordinance or resolution
governing the investment of fLunds Under Its control, and
WHEREAS, the Public Fund Investment Act (Section 2256.005e), requires the Board to
review and adopt that investment policy and investment strategies by rule, order, ordinance or
resolution not less than annually, recording any changes made thereto;
WHEREAS, the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority (BCRUA) desires to approve an
update to the "Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority Investment Policy Strategy and Approved
Broker!Dealer List" in accordance with the requirements of the Investment Policy,Now Therefore
BE 11' RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BRUSHY CREEK
REGIONAL UTILITY AUTHORITY:
That the BCRUA has complied with the requirements of the Public Funds Investment Act and
the BCRUA Investment Policy and adopts the "Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority Investment
Policy Strategy and Approved Broker.."Dealer List" as the Investment Policy and Strategy of the
BCRUA, and designates the following individuals to serve as Investment Officers of the Authority:
Karen Bondy, General Manager, BCRUA
Robert Powers, Executive Finance Director, City of Leander
Susan Morgan, Chief Financial Officer, City of Round Rock
Kevin Klosterboer, Director of Finance, City of Cedar Park
The Board hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of
the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the
public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter hereof were

discussed, considered and fonnally acted upon, all as required by the Open Mectings Act, Chapter 551,
Texas Government Code. as amended.
