Sandre July 26, 2024 Lucas Gregory Texas Water Resources Institute 1001 Holleman Dr. E College Station,TX 77840 Re: Support Letter for the Brushy Creek Watershed Protection Plan Dear Dr. Gregory, On behalf of the City of Round Rock, I am pleased to confirm our support of the Texas Water Resources Institute (TWRI)'s proposal "Brushy Creek Watershed Protection Plan." This proposed project will provide valuable opportunities for collaborative efforts to protect and improve water quality in Brushy Creek, benefiting local communities. We are glad to support this project and look forward to collaborating with TWRI in the future. Additionally, we are committed to match $63,000 in cash for the installation and maintenance of a water quality station downstream of the Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. This match will be split into three payments over three years. $19,000 for 2025 for the installion of the water quality monitoring station, $22,000 for 2026 for the operation and maintenance of the station, and $22,000 for 2027 for the operation and maintenance of the station.
