CM-2025-042 - 2/21/20254938-5322-6516/ss2 SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 TO “CITY OF ROUND ROCK AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES RELATED TO LIVE FIRE TRAINING PROP REPAIR & MAINTENANCE WITH SYMTECH FIRE” CITY OF ROUND ROCK § § STATE OF TEXAS § KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS: § COUNTY OF TRAVIS § COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON § THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 to “City of Round Rock Agreement for Professional Consulting Services related to Live Fire Training Prop Repair & Maintenance with Symtech Fire, LLC,” hereinafter called “Supplemental Agreement No. 1,” is made by and between the CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, a home-rule municipality, located at 221 East Main Street, Round Rock, Texas 78664, hereinafter called the “City” and SYMTECH FIRE, hereinafter called “Consultant,” with a mailing address of P.O. Box 493, Berkeley Heights, New Jersey 07922. WHEREAS, the City and Consultant previously executed the referenced “City of Round Rock Agreement for Professional Consulting Services related to Live Fire Training Prop Repair & Maintenance,” hereinafter called the “Agreement,” on March 20, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City and Consultant now desire modify and upgrade the scope of services as set forth herein and in the attached Addendum to Exhibit “A;” and WHEREAS, the City and Consultant desire to increase the costs associated with the modified scope of services in the amount of $41,086.00; NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and obligations in the Agreement and this Supplemental Agreement No. 1, the City and Consultant agree that said Agreement is amended and supplemented as follows: I. Section 2.0, Scope of Services, shall be amended as follows: 2.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES Consultant has issued its proposal for services, such proposal for services being attached to this Agreement as Exhibit “A” and the Addendum to Exhibit “A” titled “Scope of Services,” which shall be referred to as the Scope of Services of this Agreement and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes. CM-2025-042 2 Consultant shall satisfactorily provide all services described herein and as set forth in Exhibit “A” and the Addendum to Exhibit “A.” Consultant shall perform services in accordance with this Agreement, in accordance with the appended Scope of Services and in accordance with due care and prevailing consulting industry standards for comparable services. II. Section 4.0, Contract Amount, shall be amended as follows: 4.0 CONTRACT AMOUNT In consideration for the professional consulting services to be performed by Consultant, City agrees to pay Consultant an amount not-to-exceed Eighty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-Six and No/100 Dollars ($89,686.00) to be paid as set forth in Exhibit “A,” the Addendum to Exhibit “A,” and herein. III. This Supplemental Agreement No. 1 shall amend the original Agreement only as set forth herein with no other changes in terms or conditions of the original Agreement.
