CM-2025-140 - 5/23/2025STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON § SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT NO.2 TO CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FIRM: ARDURRA GROUP, INC. ("Engineer") ADDRESS: 3115 Allen Parkway, Suite 300, Houston, TX 77019 PROJECT: Stone Oak Puma Station Modifications This Supplemental Contract No. 2 to Contract for Engineering Services is made by and between the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter called the "City" and Ardurra Group, Inc., hereinafter called the "Engineer." WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed a Contract for Engineering Services, hereinafter called the "Contract," on the 16th day of April, 2021 for the Stone Oak Pump Station Modifications Project in the amount of $34,970.00; and WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 1 on March 24, 2022 to amend the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $139,100.00 to a total of $174,070.00; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to modify the provisions for the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $11,699.00 to a total of $185,769.00; NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and the Engineer agree that said Contract is amended as follows: I. Article 2, Engineering Services and Exhibit B, Engineering Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Addendum to Exhibit B. Exhibit C, Work Schedule shall be amended as set forth in the attached Addendum to Exhibit C. II. ,Article 4, Compensation and Exhibit D, Fee Schedule shall be amended by increasing by $11,699.00 the maximum amount payable under the Contract for a total of $185,769.00, as shown by the attached Addendum to Exhibit D. ARDURRA April 24, 2025 Ms. Kaitlyn Saucedo Engineer -Associate Utilities & Environmental Services City of Round Rock, TX 3400 Sunrise Road Round Rock, Texas 78665 Subject: Stone Oak Pump Station Modifications Project — Re -Bid Engineering Letter Request for Fee Allocation and Authorization Ardurra PIN: 2022-0958-02 & Disaster Management Dear Ms. Saucedo: The purpose of this letter is to request fee allocation and authorization of additional project funding to cover re -bidding of the above referenced project. It is understood from the feedback the City received that those who were interested in bidding the project did not have sufficient time to bid due to multiple other competing projects out for bid at the same time. The City has requested Ardurra prepare revised bid documents and re -support another bid phase round by way of email received on Thursday April 24, 2025. The proposed scope of this additional service effort is estimated at $11,699.00 and described as follows. TASK 3.5 BID PHASE — PART 2 3.6 Rebid Document Preparation — ENGINEER will assemble all previous addendums and project correspondence, questions, clarifications, drawing revisions, etc. and incorporate them into a new set of bid documents in order to rebid the project. 3.7 Pre -Bid Conference and Bidding Coordination - ENGINEER will assist the City in conducting a Pre -Bid Conference to review the details of the project and solicit questions regarding the Bid Documents. ENGINEER will assist the City in solicitation of bids by identification of prospective bidders, and review of bids by solicited interests. 3.8. Addenda Preparation and Response - ENGINEER will answer Bidder questions, develop written responses in the form of Contract Addenda. The City will post Addenda on City's procurement portal and/or Civcast.
