Contract - Brooks Bennett First Amendment to Employment Agreement - 8/28/2025 FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,TEXAS AND BROOKS BENNETT THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS rD BROOKS BENNETT (this "First Amendment") is effective as of the 2?b% day of S4 , 2025, by and between CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, a home-rule municipality ("City"), and BROOKS BENNETT, City Manager of Round Rock, Texas("Employee"). RECITALS WHEREAS, City and Employee entered into the Employment Agreement Between the City of Round Rock, Texas and Brooks Bennett for the Position of City Manager (the "Employment Agreement")on November 7, 2024; and WHEREAS, City and Employee desire to amend the Employment Agreement upon the terms and conditions more particularly set forth herein; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged,the parties mutually agree as follows: 1. Section 14 of the Employment Agreement titled "Severance" is hereby deleted in its entirety,and any reference thereto in the Agreement shall be deemed removed. 2. The remaining sections shall be renumbered accordingly.
