WHEREAS, the Round Rock Transportation System Development
Corporation ( "RRTSDC" ) has previously adopted a Transportation
Capital Improvement Plan ( "Plan" ) , and
WHEREAS, the RRTSDC wishes to amend said Plan, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ROUND ROCK
TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION,
That the amendment to the Transportation Capital Improvement
Plan for the Round Rock Transportation System Development
Corporation, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" , is hereby approved.
The Board of Directors hereby finds and declares that written
notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which
this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which this
Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered
and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended.

ITEM: 7A2. Consider a resolution approving an amendment to the Transportation
Capital Improvement Program (TCIP) to adjust funding for existing and
proposed projects.

Justification:
Public testimony is required prior to considering the following amendments to the TCIP:
1. Provide funding to reimburse Behren's Ranch for their portion of Wyoming Springs Drive in
the amount of$1,616,552.00.
2. Provide funding for Arterial A in the amount of $400,000; these funds are to be used for
contingency on this project.
3. Provide funding in the amount of $60,065.00 for AT&T fiber optic relocation completed
during the Forest Creek project.
4. Provide funding for North Mays Extension (Arterial "M") Section M-3 in the amount of
$1.289 million; these funds are required to fully fund design of this project. The project
limits are from the extension of Cypress Cove to Paloma Drive.
5. Provide funding for North Mays Extension (Arterial "M") Section M-4 in the amount of
$772,500; these funds are required to fully fund design of this project. The project limits
are from the Chandler Creek Tributary to Cypress Cove (Arterial "L").
6. Provide funding for North Mays Extension (Arterial "M") Section M-5 in the amount of
$711,000; these funds are required to fully fund design of this project. The project limits
are from University Drive to the Chandler Creek Tributary.
7. Provide funding for Cypress Cove (Arterial "L") in the amount of $235,000; these funds are
required to fully fund design of this project. The project limits are from the North Mays
Extension to Cypress Boulevard.
8. Provide funding for Arterial "L" in the amount of$776,000; these funds are required to fully
fund design of this project. The project limits are from the north IH-35 frontage road to the
North Mays Extension.
9. Provide funding for Red Bud Lane in the amount of$2.75 million. The funds are required to
fully fund design, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, and construction. The project
limits are from C.R. 123 to Woodland Loop.

10. Provide funding for the design of intersection improvements at the North Mays/US 79
intersection in the amount of$616,000.
11. Provide funding for the design of intersection improvements at the South Mays/Gattis
School Road intersection in the amount of$535,000.
12. Provide funding for A.W. Grimes Boulevard in the amount of $350,000; these funds are
required to fully fund the design of this project. Project limits are from Louis Henna to the
southern ETJ.
13. Provide funding for FM 3406 in the amount of $910,000; these funds are required to fully
fund the design of this project. Project limits are from Chisholm Trail Road to Creek Bend.
14. Provide funding for professional consulting services in the amount of $250,000. These
funds are required to perform preliminary engineering work on various projects throughout
the City.

Background Information:
The TCIP is a multi-year spending plan for improvements to major roads and arterials in the
City. Funding for this plan is provided through the %2 cent sales tax established for the purpose
of transportation system improvements that support economic development.
Public Comment:
Public hearing held on January 22, 2008 by the Round Rock Transportation System
Development Corporation.
