WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has duly advertised for bids for the Forest Creek Drive
Left Turn Lane Project; and
WHEREAS, Lone Star Sitework, LLC has submitted the lowest responsible bid; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the bid of Lone Star Sitework, LLC, Now
Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,TEXAS,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City a contract
with Lone Star Sitework, LLC for the Forest Creek Drive Left Turn Lane Project.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and
subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter
hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended.
RESOLVED this 8th day of January, 2026.

Volkert, Inc. successfully reviewed all bids presented by interested contractors at the bid opening held
on December 9,2025,for the Forest Creek Dr Left Turn Lane Improvement Project. A total of five(5)
bidders provided bids and supporting documentation compliant with City of Round Rock requirements.
Contractors who provided bids were:
1. Aaron Concrete Contractors, LLC
2. Lone Star Sitework, LLC
3. Mills Construction, LLC
4. Patin Construction, LLC
S. Wellcraft Builders
After reviewing all bids,the apparent lowest bidder with a total bid amount of$172,005.14 is: LONE
STAR SITEWORK,LLC.
Therefore,Volkert, Inc. recommends proceeding with contract award with the above-mentioned
