WHEREAS, §380.001 of the Local Government Code provides that a municipality may
establish an economic development program to promote local economic development and to stimulate
business and commercial activity in the municipality, including making loans or grants; and
WHEREAS, on May 11, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. R-2023-139
establishing the City of Round Rock Fagade and Site Improvement Grant Program ("Program") as an
approved §380.001 Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that updating the geographic boundaries of the Program
will further the public purposes originally identified in Resolution No. R-2023-139 by encouraging
reinvestment and redevelopment in targeted areas of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the expenditure of public funds under the Program
continues to serve a valid public purpose and that adequate controls remain in place to ensure that such
public purpose is carried out, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,TEXAS,
That Exhibit "A" (Map Identifying Properties Within Program Guidelines) attached to the
Program is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the revised Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein for all purposes, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
That except as expressly amended herein, all other terms, provisions, findings, and conditions
contained in Resolution No. R-2023-139 remain in full force and effect and are hereby ratified and
affirmed.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and
subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter

hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended.
