TO THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT
This First Amendment("First Amendment")is to—th`�t one certain Community Development Block
Grant Agreement("Agreement") entered into on the `L!iay of Kay , 2026 by and
among the City of Round Rock, Texas ("City") and Round Rock Area Serving Center ("RRASC"),
collectively the"Parties".
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into the Agreement, on January 2, 2026, wherein RRASC
("Subrecipient")agreed to provide rental and mortgage assistance to low-income families and fixed income
elderly persons to prevent eviction;and
WHEREAS, the Parties have determined that it is in each of their best interests to modify and
amend the Agreement to extend the expiration date from July 1,2026,to September 30,2026;
NOW THEREFORE,pursuant to Section 7.6 of the Agreement, the Parties agree to amend and
modify the Agreement as follows:
I.
1.0 The Timeframe in Section 1.4 Staffing is modified as follows:
Timeframe: October 1,2025,through September 30.2026.
II.
2.0 Section 2.1 is modified in its entirety as follows:
Services of SUBRECIPIENT shall start on October 1,2025,and must comply with all applicable
requirements of 24 CFR 570.503 and 2 CFR 200.309. This Agreement shall expire on September
30, 2026, unless extended in writing by SUBRECIPIENT and CITY, except as provided below.
SUBRECIPIENT shall complete all services contemplated by this Agreement prior to its
expiration.
III.
3.0 To the extent necessary to effect the terms and provisions of this First Amendment,the Agreement
is hereby amended and modified. In all other respects, the aforesaid Agreement is hereby ratified and
confirmed.
3.1 This First Amendment may be executed in countererparts, each of which shall be an original and
all of which together shall constitute buy one and the same instrument.
