WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has previously entered into a contract ("Contract') with
Royal Vista, Inc. for the Cycle 4 Basins 1 & 2—Wastewater Main Rehabilitation Project, and
WHEREAS,the Council has determined that it is necessary to make adjustments/changes to the
quantity of work to be performed or materials,equipment, or supplies to be provided, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to adjust/change the quantities in said
Contract in accordance with the attached Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 1, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City, Quantity
Adjustment/Change Order No. 1 to the Contract with Royal Vista, Inc. for the Cycle 4 Basins 1 & 2 —
Wastewater Main Rehabilitation Project,a copy of said quantity adjustment/change order being attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all purposes.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date,hour,place and subject
of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the
public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter hereof were
discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551,
Texas Government Code, as amended.

Due to the adverse conditions of manhole#1434334,additional repair methods are necessary, including cementitious buildback,grout to stop
infiltration,and Spraywall.It was also necessary to lift an additional 50 linear feet of pvc pipe to re-establish slope and maintain proper

Plan Page WW-14 calls to lift bursted pipe to re-establish proper slope @ 50-117 from MH#1960360. But
the manhole is full from 0-20.Need to grade from 0-117 to achive proper drainage.
Please advise.
