WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock("City") desires to purchase a fire pumper apparatus; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 271, Subchapter F of the Texas Local Government Code allows for local
governments to participate in cooperative purchasing programs with other local governments; and
WHEREAS, the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing Program ("Buy Board") is a cooperative
purchasing program administered by the Texas Association of School Boards for the purpose of
procuring goods and services for its members; and
WHEREAS, the City is a member of Buy Board; and
WHEREAS, Siddons-Martin Emergency Group, LLC is an approved vendor of the Buy
Board; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to issue a purchase order to Siddons-Martin Emergency Group,
LLC to purchase said goods through Buy Board Contract No. 746-24, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,TEXAS,
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order to Siddons-
Martin Emergency Group,LLC for the purchase of a fire pumper apparatus.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and
subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter
hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code,.as amended.
