THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 to "Austin Community College District Continuing
Education Division Memorandum of Agreement," hereinafter called "Amendment No. 1," is
made by and between the CITY OF ROUND ROCK, Texas, a home-rule municipality, with
offices located at 221 East Main Street, Round Rock Texas, 78664, hereinafter called the "City"
and AUSTIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT, with offices located at 11928 Stonehollow
Drive, Austin,Texas, hereinafter called the"ACC."
WHEREAS, the City and ACC previously executed the referenced "Memorandum of
Agreement" for the development and implementation of a training program to provide Round
Rock Firefighter cadets with opportunities to pursue higher education and receive college credit
for instruction completed, hereinafter called the"Agreement;"and
WHEREAS,the term of the Agreement is for two (2)years; and.
WHEREAS, the City and ACC desire to extend the term of the Agreement for an
additional five (5)years;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and obligations in the
Agreement and this Amendment No. 1, the City and ACC agree that said Agreement is amended
as follows:
I.
1.0. TERM
This Amendment No. I shall add an additional five (5) years to the term of the
Agreement and the new expiration date of the Agreement shall be July 11, 2031, unless
terminated earlier pursuant to Section III of the Agreement.

II.
2.0 AMENDMENTS TO AGREEMENT
This Amendment No. I shall amend the original Agreement only as set forth herein with
no other changes in terms or conditions of the original Agreement.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and ACC have executed this Amendment No. 1 to
be effective as of the last date of due execution by both parties.
