Re: Forest Creek Section 23
Oversize Utility Reimbursement (Revision #2)
Dear Mr. Nuse:
Oversize Fee Due City of Round Rock -
$300.00 x 26 lots = $7,800.00
Water Reimbursement -
November 29, 1999
Forest Creek Section 23 is a 28 lot single family subdivision previously approved
by the City of Round Rock Planning and Zoning Commission. Two of the Lots are
prohibited from development, one for open space and one being a drainage and public
utility easement lot. This leaves 26 lots available for residential construction. All the
subdivision improvements have been constructed in accordance with the approved
construction drawings. In accordance with the oversize utility reimbursement policy of
the City of Round Rock, we respectfully request reimbursement for the referenced
project in the amount of $11,835.94. Determination of the reimbursement is as follows:
Length of 12" waterline = 1,862.11 feet
Reimbursement rate @ $2.60 per foot per linear inch oversize
Reimbursement = (1862.11') * (12 " -8 ") * $2.60 = $19,655.94

Total Reimbursement Requested -
$1905.94 - 7,800.00 = $11,765.94

Reimbursement is requested since we extended the 12" waterline from the point
of connection in the Forest Creek golf course through our development to our south
boundary. It was not necessary to serve the 26 single family lots within this development
with a 12" waterline. Connection could have been made to the existing 12" line and the
line reduced to 8" in order to serve Forest Creek Section 23. Extension of the 12" line
was due to the needs of the Forest Creek Townhome project immediately south of our
tract and also allowed completion of a waterline loop within the City of Round Rock
water system.
