RESOLUTION NO. R-00-05-11-14C5
WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has previously entered into
an agreement for engineering services ("Agreement") with Heil, Lee
& Associates, Inc. for the Rubio Subdivision Street & Drainage
Improvements, and
WHEREAS, Heil, Lee & Associates, Inc. has submitted
Supplemental Agreement Amendment No. 4 to the Agreement to include
updated topographic information related to the Lake Creek Area, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into said
Supplemental Amendment Agreement No. 4 to the Agreement with Heil,
Lee & Associates, Inc., Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City Supplemental Agreement No. 4 to the Agreement
with Heil, Lee & Associates, Inc. to include updated topographic
information related to the Lake Creek Area, a copy of said
supplemental agreement being attached hereto and incorporated
herein for all purposes.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice
of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to
the public as required by law at all times during which this

Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered
and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and the Act.

the City in the preparation of a Conditional Letter of Map Revision(CLOMR)

Creek,also known as Rubio Channel. Specifically,the section from the I14-35
northbound frontage road to the confluence point with Lake Creek.
1. Perform updated"as-built"topographic survey along the improved channel
and adjacent area to confirm current topographic features for computer
hydraulic modeling use;
2. Update previously performed computer hydraulic profile model runs for_
10,25,50, 100,and 500 year frequency floods using updated topographic
ENGINEERING information;
SURVEYING 3. Prepare CLOMR application form,map revisions,engineering report,field
photos,-and other related supporting documents;
PLANNING 4. Submit application to FEMA for review and comment, and address
comments from FEMA's consultants;
5: Upon the approval of CLOMR, proceed with LOMR application and '
related activities.
` HLA estimates that the fees for assist.the City in performing the above listed
tasks will be approximately$12,500.00. Should this fee be acceptable to the
