WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock desires to retain professional
appraisal services related to the acquisition of right -of -way for SH
45, and
WHEREAS, Gardner Appraisal Group, Inc. has submitted an agreement
to provide said services, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into said agreement
with Gardner Appraisal Group, Inc., Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City an agreement with Gardner Appraisal Group, Inc.,
elated to the acquisition of right -of -way for SH 45, a copy of said
agreement being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all
purposes.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of
the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the
public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and
the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted
upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, as amended, and the Act.

As requested, we offer the following proposal to perform the appraisal services necessary to
prepare 'Market Value' appraisals for partial takings of real estate and, if applicable,
accompanying improvements, which the City of Round Rock is desirous of acquiring for right -
of-way construction of State Highway 45 in Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas.
The assignment includes appraising 13 parcels located along the north side of FM 1325 and
the north and south sides of Louis Henna Boulevard, in Round Rock, Williamson County,
Texas.
The parcels and ownership are listed below.

Based upon our understanding of the complexity of the appraisal assignment conveyed to us
by Steve Sheets in our meeting held today, Thutsday, May 18, 2000, our estimate of the cost
to provide the required appraisals will be at the rate of $1,000 per parcel for the total fee of
$13,000. Should this appraisal assignment need revising, we will recalculate our fee schedule
accordingly. We will begin this appraisal assignment immediately, and we will make every
effort to complete the assignment within thirty days from your approval to proceed. Please
sign below to acknowledge our proposal and return so that we may begin the assignment.
We understand that this is a first priority with the City of Round Rock and supercedes any
prior committments that our appraisal firm has made with any other city department or party
dealing with the City of Round Rock_
