R- 00- 10- 12 -10D4 WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has previously entered into a contract ( "Contract ") with Garney Company, Inc. for the West Transmission Potable Water Pipeline Project, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to change said Contract in accordance with the attached Contract Change Order No. 2, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City Contract Change Order No. 2 to the Contract with Garney Company, Inc. for the West Transmission Potable Water Pipeline Project. Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Change Order No. 2 with Carney Companies for the West Transmission Potable Water Pipeline Project. This change order will address a change in quantity and unforeseen circumstances on the West Transmission Potable Water Pipeline Project. This will include an additional fee of $43,630.56 bringing the contract total to $1,994,433.40. Staff Resource Person: Jim Nuse, Public Works Director. Funding: Utility CIP Cost: $1,994,433.40 Outside Source: Contractor — Gamey Construction Engineer - HDR History: This 24" line is now in place. These changes are for quantity adjustments. Impact: This change will improve the function of the line. Benefit: This line completes the western loop of our ultimate water loop.
