R- 01- 06- 14 -16C2 WHEREAS, LaSalle Equity Group, Inc. has applied to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for low income housing tax credits in connection with the construction of Round Rock Autumn Oaks, and WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock wishes to show its support for this application, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City a letter supporting the application of LaSalle Equity Group, Inc. to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for low income housing tax credits in connection with the construction of Round Rock Autumn Oaks, a copy of said letter being attached hereto and incorporated herein. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and the Act. An application for tax credits for construction assistance for this mixed income, independent and assisted living center has been filed with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). Because of the competitive nature of these applications, LaSalle Equity Group, Inc. is asking the Council to authorize a letter of support. The project is on land in the Legends Village PUD.
