Architecture + Plus has extensive knowledge of local regulations and applicable codes. Our involvement in
numerous projects for the City, RRISD and private clients in the Round Rock jurisdiction has given us a working
relationship with many city departments (Public Works, Planning, Parks and Recreation, Building Inspection,
Police, Fire, Purchasing and Info Technology), code officials and current experience with local requirements
including the Standard Building Code with Round Rock Amendments and TNRCC regulations. Recent continuing

Architecture + Plus is extremely sensitive to cost considerations, especially with public projects where responsible

of our estimates. Following are some recent projects representative of this successful track record:

stewardship of natural resources is a stated goal of our firm. Architecture + Plus has involvement in numerous
projects incorporating the City of Austin's Sustainability Guidelines including Fire Station #40, APD Substation /
Forensics Facility and Oak Hill Library. We are currently involved in designing two projects, Far SE EMS and the

and Austin. Our staff of 51 for both offices is comprised of 12 registered engineers, 15 design engineers, 15 CAD
technicians and 9 administrative staff. Projects range up to 60- stories in height and more than two million square
feet in size. Many projects have a construction budget of $50 Million or more.
Qualifications/Technical Expertise:
Datum Engineers' Austin office has been a member of the central Texas community for 22 years, and has been
responsible of the design of many prominent projects such as the Texas State Capitol Renovation and Expansion,
One American Center, and LCRA Headquarters Expansion. Current projects include the new Austin City Hall and
UT's Blanton Museum. The firm has also designed a number of facilities in Round Rock, including the McConico
Municipal Building, 15 new schools or school additions for Round Rock ISD, the Brushy Creek Recreation Center
(currently in design), and the Round Rock Hospital ER Expansion.
In addition to our extensive experience in the design of municipal and criminal justice facilities, Datum is widely
recognized as an expert in the design of parking structures. We have designed more than 100 parking garages, and
have written a reference manual with design and construction recommendations to improve the quality and life cycle
cost of open parking structures.
Datum strives for efficiency in our designs by selecting the appropriate system for a given building and often
prepares bay framing studies for pricing at the outset of the job. Our staff is also very familiar with sustainability
issues as they relate to structural systems.
