The Round Rock City Council approved Resolution No. R- 02- 05- 09 -16B1 at their
regularly scheduled meeting on. May 9, 2002. This resolution approves the letter
agreement for appraisal services regarding the acquisition of property for the Municipal
Office Center.

RESOLUTION NO. R- 02- 05- 09 -16B1
WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock desires to retain professional
appraisal services regarding the acquisition of property for the
Municipal Office Center, and
WHEREAS, Frederick & Hornsby, Inc. has submitted a letter of
agreement to provide said services, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into said letter of
agreement with Frederick & Hornsby, Inc., Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City a letter of agreement with Frederick & Hornsby, Inc., for
appraisal services regarding the acquisition of property for the Municipal
Office Center, a copy of said letter of agreement being attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all purposes.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of
the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the
public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and
the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted
upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, as amended.

As requested, I am pleased to provide this proposal for appraisal services relating to the
property captioned above. Terms of the assignment are summarized below.
1) Whole Property (M. Correa property): A
single- family residence located at 209 S. Brown
Street, Round Rock, Texas 78664.
2) Whole Property (F. Correa property): A single -
family residence located at 211 S. Brown Street,
Round Rock, Texas 78664.
3) Whole Property (Cantu property): A single -
family residence located at 208 S. Blair Street,
Round Rock, Texas 78664.
Purpose of the Appraisal: To estimate the current market value of each
property.
Use of the Report: To establish a basis for acquisition of each property
for the proposed MOC project.

Appraisal & Reporting
Standards: The appraisals will be developed and the reports will
be prepared in conformity with and subject to the
requirements of the Uniform Standards of
Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) of the
Appraisal Foundation and the Code of Professional
Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal
Practice of the Appraisal Institute.
Fee:
We will undertake complete appraisals, the results of
which will be set forth in summary appraisal reports
as defined by Standard Rule 2 -2(b), of USPAP.
1) 209 S. Brown Street: $2,500
2) 211 S. Brown Street: $2,500
3) 208 S. Blair Street: $3.500
Total $8,500
The fee is payable in the above - allocated increments
upon completion of each assignment.
The fee reflects a three- parcel assignment and is
contingent on all appraisals being undertaken
concurrently.
Time spent in addition to the initial appraisals,
including, without limitation, meetings, depositions,
mediation, arbitrations, trial and preparation for
testimony, will be paid monthly, as incurred, at the
following hourly rates:
Paul Hornsby: $225 /hour
Staff Appraisers: $100- $200 /hour
Research Assistant: $75 /hour
Completion: As soon as possible, but not later than 45 days from
authorization.
