RESOLVED this 19th day of December, 2002. ATTEST: CHRISTINE R. MARTINEZ , City Secretar 2 MAXWELL, Mayor City of Round Rock, Texas This was an item of discussion this morning with the Mayor and Mayor Pro - Tem. Background: CMT has been in business for years in Round Rock. They are changing their process and this change requires am greater volume of water. In order to obtain this new quantity, a bigger meter is required. After receiving credit for their existing meter, they require 35 additional LUE's at $3965 per LUE. This equals $13,877 plus the cost of the new meter. Recommendation: I talked to Mr. Burgess. I explained the reasons for the Impact Fees and he understood. I suggested that he make a request to have the fees waived due to his industrial expansion. He sent that via the attached e-mail. Nancy will call him to prepare an official request for Council action on December 19 The official request will contain information on what the business does, employment information, and tax implications so the Council can make an informed decision.
