Consider a resolution rejecting all bids for the utility investigation and location project for the Southwest Downtown Project. Resource: Larry Madsen, Construction Manager History: The city staff had requested bids for a project to locate existing utilities in the southwest downtown area before actual construction plans would be developed. The consultants and city budget was $200,000 and the lowest of the three bids received was $317,526. PageSouthemlandPage Consulting Engineers and city staff feel that this is too high of cost for this work. The money could be better used in the actual plans of construction of utilities for this area. Funding: Cost: N/A Source of funds: N/A Outside Resources: N/A Public Comment: N/A Sponsor: N/A
