R-76-133 - 1/8/1976ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 133R RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANS- PORTATION, THROUGH THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY, TO STRIPE CITY STREETS MEETING CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS AS SE T FORTH BY THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY. �Li ton, Mayor WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation, through the Governor's Office of Traffic Safety, is making available a program to stripe all rural roads in the State of Texas whenever such roads meet required specifications; and WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock is desirous of taking advantage of this program to stripe the City streets of the City of Round Rock; and WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock does have City streets that meet the required specifications: NOW, THEREFORE, 1 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation, through the Governor's Office of Traffic Safety be and is hereby authorized to stripe all City streets in Round Rock, Texas, meeting the required specifications; and that a copy of this resolution be sent to Mr. Terry A. Palmer, District Manager of the Governor's Office of Traffic Safety, for his information and observance. Passed and approved this 8th day of January, 1976. CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS
