THE STATE OF TEXAS CITY OF ROUND ROCK ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 152R RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock, Texas, has applied for a Highspeed Terminal Equipment Grant through the Criminal Justice Systems Committee; and WHEREAS, that grant, if approved, would be in the amount of $10,107.00; and WHEREAS, the City of Rock's portion of the above grant would be .$1,516.05; and > WHEREAS, the Round. Rock Police- - Department,,; as required by this 7grant, 't does participate in th DPS /FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Program; and WHEREAS, the Round Rock Police Department, as required by this grant, does comply with Security and Privacy Regulations; and WHEREAS, this grant requires that new operators be trained in terminal operating procedures before being assigned the duties as terminal operator; and WHEREAS, this grant requires that all terminal operations be in com- pliance with the current 'rules and procedures covering the TLETN, TCIC, NCIC, NLETS systems; and WHEREAS, this grant requires that the City of Round Rock continue the terminal maintenance after the first (funded) year of operation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Round Rock that subject to the approval of this grant the City Manager be authorized to enter into an agreement with the Governor's Office of Criminal Justice Coordination for the purposes of this grant, and subject to the foregoing conditions of said grant, and that the City Manager be authorized to expend funds from the City Treasury in the amount of;$1,516.05 for the purpose of matching funds for the Highspeed Terminal Equipment Grant, and that the Capital Area Planning Council be authorized to contract for equipment delivery for this grant on behalf of the City of Round Rock.
