R-78-185 - 12/14/1978THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON RESOLUTION N0. //V `- KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT WHEREAS, by deed dated May 24, 1970, Louis M. Henna conveyed two tracts of land to the City of Round Rock, which deed is of record in Volume 548, Page 473, Deed Records, Williamson County, Texas, to which deed and it record reference is made; and WHEREAS, it was the intention of Louis M. Henna that TRACT No. 2 described in such deed adjoin the east and north lines of Lot No. 20 of North Park No. 3 Addition to the Town of Round Rock in Williamson County, Texas, while the description described a 25 foot tract along the south line of Lot No. 20 of } North Park No. 3 to the Town of Round Rock; and WHEREAS, Louis M. Henna on the one hand and the City of Round Rock on the other hand, desire to correct the description of Tract No. 2: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Round Rock that its duly elected Mayor, Robert M. Griffith, is hereby authorized to execute a deed in the name of the City of Round Rock to LOUIS M. HENNA conveying the following described property to -wit and making the above mentioned corrections. Louis M. Henna of the County of Williamson, State of Texas, not joined herein by his wife for the reason that the land herein conveyed is not a part of his homestead, for and in consideration of the City of Round Rock conveying to him the property hereinafter described, the receipt and suf- ficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, and for which no lien, either ex- press or implied, is retained, has granted, sold and conveyed, and by these presents does grant, sell and convey unto the City of Round Rock the following described property located in Williamson County, Texas, to -wit: 0.144 acres of land, more or less, being out of the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract No. 298, situated in Williamson County, Texas, and being a portion of Lot No. 20 of the North Park Addition No. 3, a subdivision in the City of Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas, according to the plat of record in Cabinet A, Slide 344 -345 of the Plat Records, Williamson County, Texas, described by metes and bounds on Exhibit A, which exhibit is attached here- to and made a part hereof for all purposes. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described property, together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances hereto in any wise belonging unto the said City of Round Rock, its successors and assigns, forever; and I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, to warrant and forever defend, all and singular the said premises unto the said City of Round Rock, its successors and assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any parts thereof, by, through or under me, but not otherwise. 2. The City of Round Rock, acting by and through its duly elected and authorized Mayor, Robert M. Griffith, for and in consideration of Louis M.
