WHEREAS, the Spring Street Well is nearing final completion,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to grant to Texas Power & Light
Company an easement for the construction of an electric distri-
bution line'to'service said well, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to grant this easement to
Texas Power & Light , Company, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT
The mayor of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City, an
easement to Texas Power & Light Company, a copy of said easement
being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That
of Williamson County, Texas, hereinafter called "Grantor," whether one or more, in consideration of
the advantages which will accrue to Grantor from the construction of the electric distribution line and telephone line hereinafter
described, hereby grants to TEXAS POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, of Dallas, Texas, and the
an easement and right of way for an electric distribution line, and all necessary or desirable
appurtenances, and for a telephone line and appurtenances, upon over and across Grantor's land in the
Survey, Abstract No County, Texas more particularly described
in deed from to
dated 19 recorded in Volume Page Deed Records
of said County.
The center line of said distribution line and telephone line shall be located across said land as follows:
ROAHEYg Being a description of a Texas Potter & Light Company distribution project
located in East Round Rock, Texas on Spring Street to serve the water well for the
City of Round Rock as now surveyed and located across the property of the City of
Round Rock;
Beginning at Grantor's Northwest property corner and the East Right of Way of
Spring Street;
TrT aIIC3 in a Southwesterly direction for a distance of 8 feet to a Texas Power &
Light Company pole;
TI'CE South 77 degrees 8 minutes East for a distance of 31 feet to a Texas Power
and Light company pole and its attached gay. Said gayy to extend in a Northwesterly
direction for a distance of 28 feet to a guy anchorage;
Beginning again at aforementioned pole, thence South 77 degrees 8 minutes East for a
distance of 84 feet to a Texas Power & Light Company pole and its attached gay.
Said gay to extend in the same Southeasterly direction for a distance of 28 feet to
a guy anchorage.

The description is based on a preliminary survey, and it is understood that Grantees may relocate said lines in the same general
direction before or at any time after construction, and may relocate any of its structures along the course of said lines.
Grantees shall have the right to erect 3 poles, 0 stubs, and 2 guy anchorages along the
course of said line, together with the right of ingress and egress for the purpose of construction, imporving, inspecting, maintaining,
operating and removing said lines and appurtenances; the right to relocate said lines in the same relative position to any adjacent
road if and when said road is widened in the future, and the right at all times to cut away and keep clear of said lines and appurten-
ances all trees and other obstructions which, in the sole judgment of Grantees, may endanger or interfere with the proper mainten-
ance and operation of said lines.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement and right unto the said Grantees, their successors and assigns, until all
of said lines shall be abandon .

Texas, in consideration of the sum of Ten and No /100 ($10.00) Dollars
to us.in hand paid by the City of Round Rock, a duly and legally
chartered municipal corporation, of the County of Williamson, State of
Texas, have Granted and Conveyed, and by these presents do Grant and
Convey unto said City of Round Rock of the County of Williamson and
State of Texas, a right of way to construct, maintain, and repair a
water well, water pump, water line and any and all other public utilities
deemed necessary by said City into and through that certain parcel of

Wiley Harris. Abst. 298 Survey, situated
in Williamson County, Texas, and being more fully described as follows:
BEING a thirty (30) foot wide strip of land located in Williamson
County, Texas, said strip being described as being thirty (30) feet
south of and adjacent and parallel to the line hereinafter described;
BEGINNING at a point in the East R.O.W. line of Spring Street, also -
being the Northwest corner of that certain tract of land conveyed .
to Matias Diaz, described in a deed recorded in Volume , Page
of the Deed Records of said County, for the point or beginning
o the herein described Easement; thence in an Easterly direction
along the North line of said Diaz tract to a point at the Northeast
corner of said Diaz tract for the limits of the herein described
easement.
It is further intended by these presents that the right of way
herein granted to the City of Round Rock for the purposes described
herein shall never by subject to abandonment and thereby revert to the
grantors, their heirs, or assigns, for lack of use by said grantee,
the City of Round Rock, and said grant is expressly excepted from any
right to reversion of said premises under any prior deeds from said
premises to the City of Round Rock.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described right of way in and to
said premises with the right in ingress and egress thereto, together
with all and singular and the usual rights thereto in anywise belonging,
unto the said City of Round Rock and its successors and assigns forever.
And we do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators
to Warrant and Forever Defend, all and singular, the said premises unto
the said City of Round Rock, its successors and assigns, against every
person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part
thereof.
As additional consideration for the easement herein granted, the
City of Round Rock hereby agrees to provide water for one (1) single
family residence located at 601 Ridgecrest Drive at no charge for a

period often (10) years beginning on the date actual production begins
for general public use.
As further additional consideration for the easement herein
granted, if water is found but not in sufficient quantity to justify
development of a City well, ownership of the test hole shall revert to
Grantors, who shall have the right to develop the well for their own
use.
