R-79-268 - 12/27/1979 RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, H. C. Warren and wife, Cora Warren are the
owners of a strip of land suitable for use as a parking lot,
and
WHEREAS, the strip of land is located behind the U. S.
Post Office and the old Farmers State Bank building, which
have been purchased by the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it desirable to lease
the strip of land from the Warrens to provide additional
parking for the employees of the City and visitors to City
Hall, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
r TEXAS,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute on behalf of the City a lease agreement with H. C.
Warren and wife Cora Warren, a copy of said lease being
attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.

COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
This is a lease contract, made and executed in �duplicate,
by and between H. C. Warren and wife, Cora Warren, of William-
son County and the City of Round Rock, Texas, WITNESSETH:
The said H. C. Warren and wife, Cora Warren, agree to
lease to the City of Round Rock, Texas the following described
real property, situated in the City of Round Rock, Williamson
County, Texas, to-wit:
A strip of land twenty-one feet (21 ' ) wide, being
parallel with the North boundary of the H. C.
Warren Property, being lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5,
Block 10, City of Round Rock, Williamson -County,
Texas, and shown on plat attached hereto as ex-
hibit "A".
for the term of one year, from the 1st day of January, 1980, at
the monthly rental of Seventy-five and no/100 Dollars ($75.00)
per month, during such term, the first payment to be made on or
before the 10th of January, 1980, and on the same day of each
succeeding month thereafter.
The City of Round Rock shall have the right to use this
property as a parking lot for the term of the lease as
aforesaid.
The area between the fence and the curb is to be kept
clean at the expense of the City.
The City shall have the option to renew this lease on an
annual basis by notifying the Warrens of its decision on or
before December 1 of each year hereafter.

functions were carried on from this one

As in any potential recycling project,
two basic considerations emerged.Was r

reasonable?Architects said"yes"to both
questions,and the city officials took their x•
word for it.

about 35%.Exterior touching-up and
interior refinishing gave the whole Front view,after
