R-80-311 - 7/24/1980WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas has authorized the City to operate a Youth Conservation Corps Project in accordance with the Youth Conservation Corps Act; and WHEREAS, the City`has entered into a contract with the Texas Department of Community Affairs concerning the Youth Conservation Corps; and �_ z WHEREAS, the City wishes to make certain amendments to the con- tract, as specified in Exhibit "A" hereto attached, pursuant to Section XV, Sub section C of the Contract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Round Rock, Texas be authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City Council, contract amendments as specified in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. The work activities have been revised to provide additional activities for the enrollees to perform during the project period. The TDCA has 1) been notified that such an amendment will be proposed to the Council; and 2) concur that the work activities are suitable for a YCC project. No change in the YCC budget is proposed. Should the Council approve of the proposed amendment, a resolution signed by the Mayor calling for the amendment would be in order.
