Dear Paul:
The Texas Department of Water Resources required that we segregate lump
sum costs and unit price costs on the Contract for Engineering Services
Amendment filed previously in regards to the proposed Sewer System
Evaluation Survey." Please find enclosed, the "Amended Amendment" sub-
mitted for signature by the Mayor. I do not anticipate that a new
resolution will need to be passed since financial responsibilities of
the City have not changed.
The aim of TDWR is to clarify the point that they are responsible for
the unit price cost actually incurred (possibly more or less than the
estimate). As previously worded, they were responsible for the esti-
mated amount even if the actual unit price amount was less.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call David or my-
self. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely yours,
