WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has previously submitted
a grant application to the Governor's office for funding for
a juvenile officer, and
WHEREAS, the Governor has approved the grant applica-
tion, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept the grant
award, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,

That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute on behalf of the City a grant acceptance agreement, a
copy of said agreement being attached hereto and incorporated
herein for all purposes.

application as evidenced by the Statement of Grant Award from the Governor's

ments of the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of
Investigation on all criminal activities requested by them as of this date
- or in the future.
I understand that this is a special condition of the grant award made by
the Criminal Justice Division for the benefit of this office and that
failure to comply with this agreement shall subject this grant to being
terminated by the Criminal Justice Division.

" Condition
1. Personnel shall maintain daily time and attendance records
itemizing the hours spent in project and nonproject
activities as prescribed in CJD Financial Management Guide
dated October 1, 1977, page 24, item 10. Nonproject time
shall be paid from nonproject local funds.
2. Juvenile Law Enforcement Units - All officers assigned to
a delinquency prevention unit must attend a basic delinquency
prevention course within three months of attaining delinquency
prevention assignment, if the officer has not previously
received such training.

The budget contained on page 2 of the application is the approved budget for this grant.
Grantee Request for Funds
Grantee shall request funds on a monthly basis for awards greater than $10,000 and on a quarterly basis
for awards of $10,000 or less. Copies of invoices will be submitted with request for funds for
nonoperational grants i.e., equipment purchases, construction and contract services.
Future Support
Approval of the above entitled and numbered grant does not commit the Governor' s Office to
future funding. Any future funding shall be determined by the state plan under which application may
be made, all applicable policies and procedures promulgated by the Governor' s Office and the
appropriation of funds.
This grant is subject to and conditioned upon acceptance of the standard grant
conditions, special conditions noted below, and rules for administration of grants.
Total project costs must be accounted for in accordance with the Financial Management
Guide issued by General Counsel and Criminal Justice.
